Name: Fr. David Gill, SJ Position: Parochial Vicar Short Bio: Last fall, as I was coming to the end of my time as pastor in St. Mary of the Angels parish in the Roxbury section of Boston, Father Greg asked if I would like to come to St. Patrick's and work with him. I was delighted and honored. And so here I am. I have been teaching Greek and Latin at Boston College since 1969, and since 1995 I have lived and helped out in the parish, which is in a neighborhood very like West Oakland and has a very diverse congregation of Black, Hispanic, Asian and White members. At the same time, the Dean of the Jesuit School has invited me to teach Latin and Biblical Greek to the seminary students in Berkeley.
